Birth source: S261Page: Benjamin Hardy lived in Jerrys Plains. He was born at Singleton on the 30/7/1841 and died at Hamilton Street, Kogarah on 8/4/1924. He was described as a farmer, and it is said he had a store and hotel at Jerrys Plains. At one time, the family also lived at Carlton. He married Rebecca Castledine at Singleton in 1866. Rebecca died on the 18/1/1916 and both are interred at Jerrys Plains.
